I attended my first computer show in 1977 and since then have used all kinds of systems; from those that filled a room in another city to a huge 3 foot deep metal cabinet that went under my desk and had a vacuum cleaner hose full of wires that went to other stuff. We've come a long way, my current system is about 6x6x2 inches not including the monitor
